Preparations for the arrival of the initial two CHESS-U hutches are well under way. The completed structure is now disassembled, waiting for CHESS riggers to arrive and bring to Wilson lab starting on September 25.

 Metal workers and masons have been hard at work in preparation for filling the utility trench that spans underneath the new hutches. Concrete fill will provide a stable base for experiments. The yellow lines denote wall placement and the orange line, the beam trajectory.

 The remnants of the large 40 Ton steel door at the entrance to the L0 hall near the cryo refill station. Removal allows additional walkway space around the new hutches.

 The new touch screen controls display and individual line and station disable keys.

 Magnetic door locks have been installed. Keys have been eliminated for user operation of the hutch safety system.
